Teach Poetry

TEACH POETRY
This is a spoken word poetry workshop in conjunction with sage has son, (Nigeria’s First recognized spoken word poet)

The workshop takes two hours in which time; the pupils will learn the art of communication, the history of poetry, creative writing, and public speaking.

The Facilitator, Sage Has-Son is Nigeria’s first recognized spoken word poet and we are privileged to collaborate with him, and have him guide the pupils through these topics while performing some of his own poems, and encouraging participants to create, and perform their original pieces.

The Sage Has-Son has an impressive track record, with performances for major Nigerian clients such as Celtel, MTN, Guinness Nigeria, UNILEVER, Hip Hop World Awards, and Big Brother Africa, to mention a few.  He is regularly featured on TV, Radio, and Magazines, and is widely known for his passion to brand Nigerian Poetry, and expand its reach through the future generation… The Children!

The Sage Has-Son’s pilot Spoken Word workshop at The Lekki British International High School, Lagos and a subsequent workshop at The Grange Summer School were well received and all schools insist that he returns for another workshop, as the kids keep on talking about the impact it has had on their lives.
